About International Schools

A Decision That Shapes a Child's Entire Future

An international school education does more than teach a curriculum — it shapes character, instils ambition, and prepares children to thrive in a globalised world. Whether within Morocco or at a boarding school in the UK, an international school provides a recognised curriculum, a multicultural community, small class sizes, high academic expectations, and the foundation for entry to the world’s best universities.

But finding the right international school is not simply a matter of finding the most prestigious name. Every child is different — different strengths, different learning styles, different social needs, different dreams. The school that is perfect for one child may be completely wrong for another. EN Education Morocco takes the time to understand your child as an individual before making a single recommendation.

Our school placement specialists have extensive knowledge of the international school landscape — both in Morocco and abroad, particularly in the UK where we have direct relationships with admissions offices at leading independent and boarding schools. We have helped families from Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, and across Morocco find and secure excellent school placements — and we bring the same care and diligence to every family we work with.

Our International Schools Service

Everything a Family Needs

Curriculum Guidance

We help you understand the key differences between British, American, IB, Cambridge IGCSE, and French curricula — and advise on which best suits your child's learning style, future university ambitions, and language preferences.

School Shortlisting

We create a personalised shortlist of schools matched to your child's age, academic level, personality, and your family's location preferences and budget — whether in Morocco or at a boarding school in the UK.

Application Management

Full management of the admissions process — application forms, academic references, school reports, and all supporting documentation — with direct liaison with each school's admissions office on your family's behalf.

Entry Exam Preparation

Guidance on school entrance examinations — including Common Entrance, 11+, 13+, and school-specific assessments — and advice on how to prepare your child effectively to perform at their best.

Pastoral & Safeguarding Guidance

For families considering a UK boarding school, we provide comprehensive information on pastoral care standards, safeguarding policies, guardian arrangements, communication expectations, and exactly what to expect when your child is at school abroad.

Ongoing Family Support

Our relationship with your family does not end at enrolment. We remain in contact throughout your child's school career — providing a point of contact, a trusted voice, and continued guidance as their needs and ambitions evolve.

Who We Help

Who Our International Schools Are For

1

Families Planning for Primary School

You want to establish the right international educational foundation for your child from an early age — choosing a school with a globally recognised curriculum that builds strong language skills, academic rigour, and an international outlook from the very beginning.

2

Families Considering Secondary School Abroad

Your child is approaching secondary school age and you want to explore the option of a UK boarding school or international secondary school — opening the pathway to GCSE, A-Level, IB, and admission to the world's top universities.

3

Parents Currently in Morocco

You are looking for the best international school option within Morocco itself — seeking an institution that delivers a British, American, or IB curriculum, high academic standards, and a multicultural environment without the need for your child to travel abroad.

4

Expatriate Families Relocating to Morocco

You are relocating to Morocco and need to find the right international school for your child quickly — one that maintains continuity with their current curriculum, settles them into a new environment smoothly, and prepares them for the next stage of their education.

The Process

How We Find the Right School for Your Child

Simple, clear, and built around you. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you reach out.

Step 1

Family Consultation

Understand Your Child & Family

We begin with a detailed family consultation — understanding your child's academic profile, personality, interests, and ambitions, as well as your family's priorities, budget, and location preferences. This is a conversation, not a form.

Step 2

School Research & Shortlist

Identify the Right Options

We research and shortlist schools that genuinely match your child's needs — not the most prestigious name, but the right fit. We provide you with detailed school profiles and give you our honest professional assessment of each.

Step 3

Applications

Full Application Support

We manage the entire admissions process — preparing and submitting all documentation, arranging school visits where relevant, preparing your child for entry exams and assessments, and communicating with admissions offices on your behalf.

Step 4

Enrolment & Beyond

Settle In With Confidence

Once a place is confirmed, we guide your family through the practical steps — uniform, guardianship arrangements (for boarding school), travel, and pre-arrival preparation. And we remain a point of contact throughout your child's school years.

Common Questions

International School Questions

Here are the things most Moroccan students and families ask us before their first session. If your question is not listed here, just ask.

Most UK boarding schools accept students from age 11 (Year 7) or 13 (Year 9), though some accept younger children into their prep school departments. We advise families based on their child’s individual readiness as well as the entry points of relevant schools.

Most UK independent and boarding schools follow the British National Curriculum, leading to IGCSEs (at age 16) and A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate (at age 18). Both A-Levels and the IB Diploma are recognised by universities worldwide for undergraduate entry.

All UK boarding schools have dedicated houseparents, matrons, and pastoral care teams who are responsible for students’ welfare around the clock. For students under 16, schools also require families to appoint an approved local guardian — we can advise on this and connect you with reputable guardianship services.

Fees at UK independent boarding schools typically range from £12,000 to £45,000+ per year depending on the school and age group. We work with families across a range of budgets and always provide full fee transparency during our initial consultation. Some schools offer means-tested bursaries that can significantly reduce costs.

Both. We advise on international schools within Morocco offering British, American, and IB curricula, as well as boarding schools and international schools in the UK and Europe. We always explore what is available locally first, unless a family has a clear preference for international placement.
